Fresh off the heels of two commercially successful films starring Michael Meyers, Team John Carpenter took a left turn and decided the Halloween series would be better as an annual holiday-themed horror anthology. And maybe it would have been, had they not led the charge with this turkey.
It didn’t make a big splash, but it did make a huge impression on both of us – and, we suspect, many likeminded souls of our generation. This movie celebrates all that is goofy and fun about this iconic character, and we had a blast revisiting the camp and the cheese this holiday season.
