I've listened to so many horror podcasts where the hosts are just pretentious and super "woke. " Todd and Craig discuss the film for what it is, A HORROR MOVIE, which is all I want to hear. Good or bad, they talk about the film and its not some mind numbing, brain exploding show that makes you think about whether a film from 1984 is a deep dark analogy for something happening in 2021. I just really enjoy their chemistry and their honesty and I get super stoked when they release a new episode. I hope you guys recap the other Hell House, LLC films!

I can’t recommend this podcast enough. I haven’t seen a lot of these films but they do such a great job reviewing it feels like I have after listening. Thanks guys for creating an amazing podcast. As a horror movie fan, I really enjoy this podcast. Real Funny

I’ve been listening to and liking this show for a little bit. But today, listening to the return of the living dead review and the one guy seems so critical of this dumb movie... I dunno... something so funny about it. I want more. Watch more of these 80s garbage films and pick apart the production choices and writing styles. My new favorite art. Beyond this I like these guys’ back and forth, timing, etc. Seems well edited. Good!

This is the first horror movie podcast that I have found that is by 2 well spoken hosts that do not feel the need to make it slapstick and/or drop F bombs every other sentence. The hosts still have a good time and joke around, but it is not over the top. They cover a wide range of horror movies and cover the entire movie, which appeals to me because it is like listening to a story. Highly recommended.

TGAAC is one of my two favorite horror movie podcasts. Very intelligent insight and research, put into the reviews of the films discussed and the hosts have a great rapport. Once you give it a try you’ll be hooked! Highly recommend.

TGAAC is one of my two favorite horror movie podcasts. Very intelligent insight and research, put into the reviews of the films discussed and the hosts have a great rapport. Once you give it a try you’ll be hooked! Highly recommend.

One of the best

Craig and Todd achieve an almost perfect combination of the things I look for in a horror movie podcast: they cover the movies I want to hear about, their chemistry is genuine, and they stay on topic with really in-depth analysis. But most importantly, they are clearly intelligent guys who have something to say. It's a great balance of thoughtful critique and poking fun at the sometimes ridiculous horror genre. Keep it up!

Who on earth can give these two less than 5 starts. They’re insightful view into our favorite horror films deserve nothing but 5 stars. One of the best horror film podcasts around (how to survive and dead and lovely being the other two favourites of mine) thanks for your time and effort guys. An interesting watch for you might be ‘el incidente’ (the film with the never ending staircase, I think there’s a few films of the same title). Thanks again.

This is a great podcast, and the hosts are funny and they do a good job of staying on topic, unlike some other podcasts. I am a starting to get into horror movies, and I think it would be nice if they gave a short summary, without opinion or other facts, but a straight plot with all the main points of every movie. They do a good job of consistently mentioning kill counts, etc., but with slashers and other similar movies, it would be nice if they added that.

Effortless blend of information and entertainment

This is my favorite podcast right now. Was told about it by a coworker and subscribed as soon as I saw the list of movies the guys had already reviewed. As horror fans, we know these movies will not win an Oscar any time soon, but we don’t need the movies we love nit-picked! Being a longtime horror fan, I really love how these guys break down scary flicks and have an intelligent, thoughtful conversation about them. I have rose-colored (hehe) memories of LAKE PLACID, especially the parts with Betty White, so it was nice to revisit the movie through Todd's and Craig's viewpoints. Keep up the good work, guys!

I believe that a podcast lives or dies according to the quality of its hosts. Going by the handful of horror podcasts that I’ve checked out recently, quality doesn’t seem to be a high priority. Instead, all I end up with is lots of unnecessary cussing, people shouting over each other, and plenty of errors and misinformation.


Not here! First of all, the two hosts are some of the best Ive come across, and not just from a horror related point of view. Erudite, knowledgeable, amusing, charming, and no using the F word two or three times a sentence. These guys know their stuff, and the end result is rather like sitting in on a couple of friends chatting about films in a bar.


Secondly, they know their stuff. No waffle, they just get on with it and let the conversation flow. Some podcasts I leave wondering if the presenters have actually seen the films they’ve been shouting about.


Last but not least, their selection of films is top notch. Not just the classics that every man and his dog have talked about for decades, but also plenty of lesser known movies, some of which are now on my “To watch” list. Theres a huge back catalogue of episodes too, so I shall take my time with those.


Any grumbles? No, none that I can think of. I’m not a big fan of extreme horror but maybe you could dip your toes into that at some point? I would love to hear your thoughts of A Serbian Film, for example. Or how about some more video nasties? I appreciate a lot of those are awful but it could be fun hearing your thoughts on some of those.


But anyway, thats just an idea or two. I’ll continue to work my way through various random episodes and see what I find. I’m currently listening to the chat about Company of Wolves, a film I saw a couple of times at the cinema. Its a fascinating movie, and I’m glad you enjoyed it. After that, I’ll be going to the other extreme and listening to the Terrifier instalment !


So, yes. First class. Best horror podcast I've found. Thanks. I was giving up hope!
