The Monster Squad

The three of us enjoyed chatting about this “Goonies for horror fans,” delivered like a time capsule from the 1980’s. We kinda wonder why it isn’t more popular today.

A decaying zombie with rotting skin, sunken eyes, and missing patches of hair stares forward. Its tattered clothes hang loosely, and its mouth is open, revealing broken teeth—a grim vision straight out of a cult classic horror film. The background is dark and indistinct. 0

Night of the Creeps

We hold mixed feelings about Fred Dekker’s dated but charming send-up to classic sci-fi and horror films. But it’s worth a watch if you love everything about those movies. And James Gunn (Slither, Guardians of the Galaxy) owes a LOT to this movie…
